Topic: What's happening in L.A. this weekend?

The Buddaheads and Phil Sayce play alot in L.A.  Might want to check their websites.  Also forgot to include The Gentlemen's Blues Club who are great as well.  Hope your friend gets lucky and tell us what band was heard.

Trip's over, he may go back for a consultation job. He's downstairs playing his guitar. There wasn't any music near him, but he had fun visiting guitar shops.   Cathy

Amen Big JJ, having been there several times over the years I can concur. From a distance it appears like some kind of paradise, but after 24 hours you begin to ask yourself, what the hell am I doing here? Best bet when going north to south is to enjoy San Luis Obispo or Santa Barbara and drive straight through LA and get to the San Diego area. IMO SD is "THE" destination in SoCal.

JAYDAWG!  San Diego was the spot for me.  The old band would do a layover in LA.  I'd disappear...first to Santa Monica then right to San Diego...now where is he?
