He really surprised them with the maturity of his playing. I'm glad he didn't sing. Let the guitar do the talking for now. VERY happy for the little guy with the old soul! Glad I got my autographed photo while I could (Thanks Roy)   Cathy

Yes, I watched this then went to youtube for more.....perhaps his singing voice will improve with age. But in terms of his playing....superb....and only 9 !! Good that music is finally taking a turn for the better these days....for a while I was still listening to the old greats like Clapton, Rolling Stones etc......now we have great tallent in the making with guys like this and JB himself........which reminds me, I need to check his dates for his Edinburgh gig.

They must have rerun the show yesterday because my 12 year old granddaughter sent me a test message yesterday that said this:  "On America's Got Talent there's a 9 year old guitar player and when they asked him what his inspiration was he said Joe Bonamassa."

Why does our 12 year old granddaughter know about Joe?  Because we told her and Buddy (her 16 year old brother) about Joe and they sat down with me to watch the Live at Rockpalast DVD Joe has and they loved it (and were impressed).  We also play Joe music at our house...ALOT...so the kids know who Joe is!

It's our youth that will carry on the blues and it was good to see Tallen rockin' on the blues!

Great to hear from you again...I'll bet you and Lil Eddy are waiting fro the new DVD like Sharon and I are...Boy it still feels like it was just yesterday that we were sitting in the box with you guys in awe of the RAH experience...Rumor has it that T-Man is on AGT tonight...
