Topic: Trouble Waiting: How to get the tone?

Can anyone help me out with getting the Joe's tone on 'Trouble Waiting' from the album 'A New Day Yesterday'?
What i'm looking for are settings e.g. treble, middle, bass , gain, volume, preamp etc. Thanks!

Re: Trouble Waiting: How to get the tone?

Any SRV based setup should work fine for that tone.  It all really depends on what guitar/amp/pedals you have at your disposal.  What are you using?  I think Joe used a Stratocaster on the middle pickup through a cranked up Marshall on the clean channel + an overdrive (Carl Martin Hot Drive & Boost).  He used a Jubilee I believe.  Joe's Jubilee settings are available somewhere on this website.  Good Luck!

'67 and '74 Fender Twin Reverbs, '74 Marshall 1987 lead mkII, Metro Superlead 100. Pedals from TC Electronic, Ibanez, Dunlop, BK Butler, Electro-Harmonix, Fulltone, Maestro/Gibson, Loopmaster switching, VoodooLab, Boss. Gibson and Fender guitars, Dimarzio pickups.
