Topic: Firebrand Super Rock/Viking Skull Edinburgh 23rd of May

Hey all,

Very bored at work so i thought i'd post on here lol

My mates band Firebrand Super Rock are playing in edinburgh (Where they are from) on the 23rd of may at Studio 24

The mighty Viking Skull are headlining the gig.

There are heavy rock.Jamie on guitar is fantastic and the singer laura has an unbelievable voice!! Total rock voice!

Anyway tickets are only £8...well £9.50 when you add on charges.

They are being pushed quite heavily in Classic Rock this month who have them signed to Powerage - their own label .

This months free CD has got a couple of good trax from them. I'll check out the website. I've got them on the list to catch if they come to Hamburg.

Wish I lived nearer,  never heard of Firebrand Super Rock, but I love Viking Skull - they're from where I live big_smile
Will check FSR out though, if they're playing with VS they must be good!!

Another member of the skull army!!! Not many people i know are part of the skull army or have even head of VS...but you have!!!  woohoo

Just noticed u had coventry / corby as ur location. Would love to see those guys in a home town gig!

Very friendly guys.Have always been very nice to me when i meet them.

Roddy Stone is an amazing front man! and you gotta love waldie!!

Have seen them 5 times with the gig this month being my 6th .

We are having a party after the gig.....gonna try and get Roddy and everyone else to come along to it big_smile

Im very excited about it! lol

As luck would have it I'm at a stag weekend in Glasgow that weekend. hmm
I have heard of Firebrand Super Rock though, they played a Bon Scott tribute show last year! smile

Sorry I meant heard of, not heard, I was unable to attend but recall the songs on their myspace sounded pretty good.

They are great guys - seen them quite a few times in Corby, also saw them in London when they were playing a 'battle of the bands' for Metal Hammer magazine - they do put on a great show!
I serve them sometimes at work, as I work in the local supermarket, it's great to see them play in their hometown - it's not the best town in the world (I mean we only got a train station a couple of months ago!!! lol)
