The evening at Dingwalls was a blast. I came across Eva and Gunther outside the Ice Wharf and that was the first of many meetings that evening (and Monday) where I said hello to people who were then complete strangers just because they were wearing a Joe t-shirt or a forum badge! And what a friendly bunch everyone turned out to be. If I was a little nervous about coming on my own on the way there I felt I was in the company of long lost friends by the end of the evening.

I agree David, everyone was very friendly and it was great to put faces to names on posts on the forum.  I last saw Aynsley in January and very much enjoyed the gig as well as the company.   Duncan, thanks for arranging the evening smile brilliant choice.

Youtube legend, Prakash,  has loaded the whole Dingwalls gig to youtube so here's the link - please remember to leave comments on youtube - thanks Prakash - what would we do without you??........  http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p … 458ADD9286

Re: Dingwalls

The gig at Dingwalls was a great way to kick off the fun. It was so nice to finally meet up with so many Buddies at last.
Unfortunately I missed most of Jon Amor's set but I did catch the last number 24 hours on video.

It was the only the second time I have seen Aynsley and I was very impressed, some very tasty playing indeed. I also think Midus is very cool cool
It was great to see everyone having such a good time. Hush went down very well with Bonabuddies rockin out all over the place!
I have some videos which I haven't uploaded yet but like Eldo said the legendary Prakash has uploaded the whole gig to You Tube. He would greatly appreciate your comments too.

Re: Dingwalls

Great stuff, looking forward to watching it! Prakash is a London legend, check out his other videos too!

It was clear Aynsley had a great time in front of the Bonamasses on Sunday, and I'm pleased to see the feeling seemed to be mutual! smile

Re: Dingwalls

Finally got around to downloading some pictures from that night - I had to get my hands on Bill's little camera to extract them!

Actually had more than I thought (pictures - not beer).  It was a great show - can't wait for Aynsley to come to Boston (hint, hint).

If someone from here who is also on Aynsley's forum wants to post the link feel free.

Yes, we did too. The Other Joe B/Bizzer, his wife Sharon and my wife Kathryn and I walked around a mile down Camden High Street (probably not the safest place to walk when you've got £600 ticket money for Cocoon down your trousers lol) looking for a black cab to get us back to our hotels in South Kensington. Luckily we found a taxi office and made a deal for the four of us.

It was a fantastic night, a fantastic weekend and it all seems like a dream now. I want to do it all again as I think I'd enjoy it even more second time round. big_smile

Sounds like a great idea, let's do it again!

I must have been the one with the easiest return "home" on Sunday night, I jumped on a bus for a 35 minute journey across the city. The only hazard I faced with falling asleep and waking up in White City! smile

Great shots Martin (also the Cocoon ones!) - thank you! That one is so funny: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mbcl/35002 … 672494024/ lol

Aynsley´s show was great - his playing has really improved since the last time I saw him (and I thought he was very good back then already...). Will go to see him again whenever he´s playing near me.

All the forum-meetings during these days were just priceless ... so much fun, so much talking - I´ll shut up during the next days, got to take a rest. wink

Re: Dingwalls

Hi Martin,
It seems to be there at the moment?

Re: Dingwalls

Just got back to the UK so this is the first chance I've had to say how much I enjoyed the weekend thanks to all the folks I met.

I thought the Dingwalls gig was excellent (Nice one Duncan) and it was a real pleasure to meet all the people I did - everyone made me feel most welcome.

I though Aynsley did a great set - and the intimate nature of the venue (and a load of beer) made for a great night. I even managed an easy trip back as I caught the last tube (more luck than judgement)

Unfortunately I couln't get to Coccoon after RAH but it looks like the fun carried on.

So thanks to Duncan, Wooders, Tripsy et al for making a great night.
