so, we went to Greece
stayed in lovely Zakynthos
south-west of the isle

fell deeply in love
with life all over again
green hills, deep blue sea

wonderful people
in a magical landscape
so peaceful and calm

now, here is the thing
we want to go back so much
but this time to stay

a place to call home
among the old olive groves
time to make new plans

Haiku here and there
this forum thread be's da place
Please don't thumb your nose

just Google haiku
read and inwardly digest
then try again mate

Pleased as punch I am
I forgot the business cards
well, the next time then

The funky dr of LOVE
Big Jeff the Mad Chef

Redbone Bassman plays
sings blues from a lonely place
rhythm rides alone

With Yoga I walk
No wheelchair for me today
There is work to do!

No Geoff, I am fine
had a gratitude attack
thinking back ten years

first I got run down
then some time in traction spent
the doctors were wrong

they did not know me
We'll get you a wheelchair, sir
They said with a smile
