Topic: The misery of missing show

Well we all know the feeling of anticipation when we keep an eye on the tour page. Waiting for months then weeks to pass and finally.....SHOWTIME!! Driving home from the show with that Bonabuzz! Well have any of you felt the opposite side of the spectrum? Thats what me and girlfriend are faced with right now. "Oh cool Joe be in area October (Ridgefield CT-Foxborough Mass) we'll get tickets next payday.Too many bills." Then BAM! Show is a week away and no extra cash. Kids in college, filling oil tank for winter etc. So have any of you experienced the misery of missing a show you'd normally make? I think I might start a support group for Joe B fans that sit home knowing he is tearing it up within 80 miles from you AND YOU CAN"T GO!!

Re: The misery of missing show

Boy can I relate. We had 3 chances to see Joe within driving distance Richmond, Norfolk and Annapolis and normally we would have gone to all 3 of them but could only afford 1 so we picked Richmond. Now I'm even more bummed to find out Joe did a brand new song in Norfolk. When's the first meeting?  smile

Still not going? I'll be at the Ridgefield show (sorry sad ) but have a question for you.  I had bought one ticket for Gov't Mule/BDS for Nov. 8th in Wallingford Ct.  I can't use it now, something came up.  Would you be interested in this ticket?  Decent seat, yours free if you're interested in it.  Not Joe, but still should be a great show.  Email me if you want it, and it's yours. smile

Thanks for the offer of Govt Mule tix, greatly appreciated! That venue in Wallingford (Chevrolet Theater) I can make a call and get in no problem. As for Joe B I may have a happy ending for tonights show in Foxboro! I'll keep you posted. The Ridgefield show will be one of the best! Those old style theaters (theatres?) are the best places to see Joe. The 3 best shows were Ridgefield, The Guarde Theater and a place in N Hampton Mass. THANK YOU JOE B FANS!!!
