Hello, everyone.  We are very excited to have had LFNIP as one of the 67 submissions for Best Contemporary Blues Album!  Of those 67, the five Grammy nominees that are chosen will be announced on December 3 and the winner of the category will be selected in February.  Meantime, are there any voting members in the house? :-) Or, if anyone knows any voting members, please let them know about Joe!

Melissa,
I am from the Chicago area, where they know a little bit about voting. If this were an mayoral election, they'd be canvassing the graveyards...amazing the number of votes you can get from dead people. : )
Not sure there's any help for the Grammy vote though.

Re: Joe is up for a Grammy!

I did a little searching and found the complete list of submissions in the Blues category:

http://www.grammy.com/pdfs/entry/blues.pdf

Pretty much anybody that has a new album out this past year is on this list.

Re: Joe is up for a Grammy!

Sorry to burst the proverbial bubble but I don't see in my search where Joe or LFNIP made the final four in any Grammy category. And yes I did look at the Grammy website.

If someone finds it otherwise please post it!!
