I've been to the Saloon many times in the past. The place is so old they still have the trough in front of the bar from the gold rush days when the male only patrons would relieve themselves without losing their place at the bar. Last time I was there was after a friend of mine got us kicked out of the Outlaws show up the street at the now defunct Stone on Broadway, the bouncer had a different take on ingesting substances other than alcohol at our table, which seemed odd as the cocktail waitress didn't seem to mind in fact she helped out. Believe it or not, but North Beach is more outta control now than it was 25 years ago.

BTW, I got a damn good nights sleep last night...............Fridays are for amateurs, kinda like a mudslide!!!
