Topic: Radio/TV

On the old forum I had menitoned that I noticed Imus in the Morning on MSNBC (TV) and on radio many places, had a fondness for music.  I wrote to him several times back in the spring, never heard back and didn't listen to him too much over the summer.  It seems like the trend  I observed about him is growing and he is having more and more musical guests on his show.  Here is an article to read and his e-mail address if it interests you.  Keep in mind that Imus and Conan are kinda' under the same roof of NBC.

Also, the 885 Best Artist countdown on WXPN starts Monday the 9th.  I'll let you how Joe places.  And I just got my first response from Jonny Meister, the blues DJ.  I knew he was a John Coltrane fan so I passed on the Long Island Hall of Fame and included the link to the Blues Matters magazine cover.  Jonny will come around eventually...    http://www.jbonamassa.com/

I know everyone here feels the same way, BUT didn't I tell you afer "You and Me" was released that Joe was going to take the UK by storm and it was a GREAT time to be a Joe Bonamassa fan!!!!

Gotta' get back to work...have a good weekend everyone and I'm hesitant to place any bets on the Eagles vs. Cowboys game.  You just never know with TO and Donovan...unpredictable characters!!  Some of the basic seats are going for $1000.

Re: Radio/TV

The 885 list of the best is a countdown starting with 885 and is in slow motion so, I'll keep you posted when Joe's name pops up, hopefully.  They were in the low 700's today. Over 6,000 votes were cast.

Sorry about your Cowboys Phil.  How about that ending, could have gone either way...maybe Santa will bring you a win on Christmas Day and keep T.O. from having a hissy fit!

Re: Radio/TV

Too much Cowboy talk and we are going to have to move this to "Other Artists..."; although not much artwork was done on Sunday.

I never got the feeling it could have gone either way, it seemed as though Philly had them beat from early in the game. Good thing they play 16 games. Check with me in a few weeks.

Re: Radio/TV

This is the final 885 list, from top down...very eclectic which is exactly what Philadelphia public radio is about  I guess it's a catch 22 situation, if the station doesn't play Joe, listeners can't hear him to vote for him.

For those interested in voting for their top 10 CD's of 2006.  You and Me has got me at #1!

P.S. for Phil-Unless we witness a miracle with the Eagles, I'd like to see the Cowboys go all the way.  Our 2 sons have disowned us for even thinking this way...maybe the Christmas day game will surprise us...I'd like to see TO do well, Andy Reid is hard headed and never knew how to handle TO and is blindsided with Donovan love, regardless of his statistics.
