Topic: Senior Open

I was at the U.S. Senior open today... I've never seen anything like it. If you've ever been to a golf tournament you know how impressive some of the shots are. I was feet away from Greg Norman, Fred Funk, and many other timeless names. Too bad they didn't allow cameras in there or I would have had some great pictures for all of you.

I saw Norman hit a shot that was at least 180 yards from the hole (over a lake!!) and it just about hit the flag. I couldn't believe it!!!

and a shocking win. Eduardo Romero from Argentina takes the trophy!!! great day again today. Earlier this week we had bears on the course!!

I was watching the coverage on tv and they were showing a bear roaming down one fairway and the announcer was saying that they were thinking of not letting the golfers play #18 because of "dangerous conditions". I was watching, and although tv does have an 8 second delay, I was thinking to myself that a spectator was going to get mauled right there on tv.  Where there marshalls with guns standing by just in case ?

Tell me about the car i saw parked outside your door ? Tell me what you left me waiting two or three hours for ? Tell me why when the phone rings, baby, your up and across the floor ? Please dont keep me wondering no more.....

yeah they shot the bear with a rubber bullet and then I think they tranquilized it later on. The bear's cub was left alone thankfully but I don't know if the mom ever found it. Thank goodness nothing happened it actually turned out to be kind of funny, but it could have been bad.

sounds awesome. I followed Greg Norman, Tom Watson, Fred Funk and Tom Kite, but I can't imagine seeing Arnold Palmer!! This was my first golf tounament I can't for the 2011 Women's Open!!
