Re: Your rig...
Roy, bad karma for the ukulele pics. Sorry dude but if they're good enough for George Harrison then they're good enough for all. Treat 'em with respect
Peace

I want one of those Blackhearts.. Übercool logo!
if you are thinking about it, just go for it. it is a great little amp. built very well (FAR exceeded my expectations), and sounds really good even with all stock components. you won't be disappointed. and, i agree, the 3-D logo is indeed Übercool!

Guess Ill have to wait a bit. I've just bought two new guitars, and two amps. The Miss'es would most certainly kill me, if I spend any more of my hardearned money on gear. Im not even allowed to go buy a pick!
Here is my simple rig various guitars and amps. I mainly use the Vox AD60Vt for jamming or live with an behringer EQ in the FX loop. The Vox Valvetronix range tend to have a flubby bottom so the EQ just takes a blanket off the whole amp. The VC12 pedal board allows me to control the whole amp from the floor. I use a Digitech Bad Monkey Tube OD mainly because the Vox AD60Vt has limitations in its pedal section. I can't use the built in Tube OD with say the Univibe or Wah Wah so i use the Bad Monkey externally to get around this
I have my Dual Booster & Incinerator Treble Boosters made by Greg Covington in Ohio who is a genius. The sound from these pedals are amazing they are running through the low input of the amp which calms the pedals down a little and avoids digital clipping. The Dual Booster has a Rangemaster clone on one side and a slightly more modern Pete Cornish Style Booster on the other with bags of gain. I just received the Incinerator Treble Booster a few days ago but on first test the sound is superb plenty of gain and great for those Rory type moments. Guitar wise i mainly use My Fender Classic 60's Strat, Les Paul or my Brian May Signatures but have various other Strats, Teles and a cheap Wesley Freeport with P90's which sounds superb and equally as good as some more expensive guitars. (All with GFS or Adeson Trisonic pickups)
At home i use a Vox Cambridge with the Vox VBM Treble Booster section through the front end of the Cambridge for recording or practice. This little setup it great for home recording and is also marriage saver. Enjoy i hope the pics work its the first time i've used Photobucket.

Hi,
I have different amps and guitars but my fave recently is
my Gibson 57 Goldtop (a 2003 VOS model with Rio board, best I ever had)
and a Marshall 2555 Top with 2x12 cab (G12-65).
http://s228737690.online.de/images/TT_2555.jpg
I use this setup with a pedalboard (Wah, TS-9, Eventide Timefactor, Retrosonic chorus)
for a one off band I use to play from time to time. We play classic/bluesrock.
By the way, also 3 songs of Joe. Sloe Gin, Bridge to better days and One of these days.
I really enjoy to play those stuff.
Alex

Like butter simply my favourite guitar love playing it... the neck is nice and fast the fret board feels soft on the fingers (which is a personal preference I guess) and it just has alot of resonance about it prob because of the thin laquer. The neck pick up and pos 4/5 has a nice deep mellow sound, the bridge pick up is nice and twangy.... Ive tried other highways and none seem to play quite like this one :x
Anyhow enough ranting
Mines pretty simple, with a paper round, im slightly limited, but still, i love my Marshall and PRS. Heres everything.

Thats my backline, loud enough for me, if i need it louder, it goes thru the PA. I know of guys who use 6 watts!!!
This is my pride and joy:

I guess im so used to it, that i dont get along with many other guitars!! Maybe i play too much LOL
erm, i have a SQUIER strat, my first electric that is. My washburn:
http://www.washburn.com/products/acoust … /f10s.aspx ( however, mine has no scratch plate)
My amp has digital effects, so i also have a digital delay, like Joe sometimes uses.
So thats my guitars, backline and effects, and everything else.
OH! I also string my guitars with 9 - 42's, even my acoustic!
But these are elixir nanowebs, which are meant to last up to 6 monthsish, if not longer.
But mine seem to go rusty VERY QUICKLY!!!
No matter, they last longer than all others, despite sweaty hands and playing outside gigs
OK THATS IT
Scagey
