Topic: FLAMING SUNSETS

Just watched the 3rd flame red sunset since a wildfire got outta hand just north of me here in the north SF Bay Area. The air is thick with smoke and two nights ago the news reported 842 fires burning in Ca. The CDF guys are spread so thin they only work the ones in populated areas. This is already the worst fire season I can remember in 43 years of living here, and it's only June. We'd gladly take some of that rain you midwesterners got hammered with.

Re: FLAMING SUNSETS

I've been watching these on the tube. There are so many all over the place, some they just have to let burn. Then today they couldn't put any planes or helicopters up to help. Sorry Dawg....And you're right, the poor waterlogged midwest. "The Bread Basket" of the U.S.. Food is going to be a luxury item soon.

My thoughts are with all of you suffering from this wacky weather. Mother Nature is not happy!     "There but by the grace of God go I"      Cathy

Re: FLAMING SUNSETS

Cough, sneeze, wheeze, the smoke is making life difficult on all us asthma sufferers. Monday I stayed in the house all day, fortunately the heat wave subsided. Just life in the wild west.
