Topic: question on the Signature sounds styles&Techniques DVD

Hi Guys today i have seen The Signature sounds styles&Techniques DVD and in the soloing part
Joe shows how good he knows the Fingerboard
and its amazing good
i mean that`s are the keys smile
but how to learn it ??? sad
bye the way its a very  good dvd
i watch it every day now untill it comes out of my ears ..... wink

Somewhere along the way Joe gave a really good tip about expanding your knowledge of the fretboard. He suggested playing the licks you already know in different positions on the neck. I've tried it and it just dumps you out at a different spot and forces you to play some new things. Try it!

I have to honestly say that im really slow when it comes to knowing the fretboard, even though i know its important. I know the E strings and the A string pretty good. but the rest..Blahhh. ^^

Gonna try to play licks in different positions from now on big_smile

wow i have tryed yesterday and today a little bit....... (because i had not mutch time )
bud i get crazy when i try to find a cord all the way down the fretboard
i mean after two trys i dont remember what the ground cord has sounded and after an half hour im burn out ....lol
ok so far now i try more  and the next weeks i
i give an update from time to time
