I just got word that it is official. Health is restored. The whole family is celebrating. Look out world! There's some smoking blues coming on the wind in the new year. From Baton Rouge comes more than jambalaya and swamp music.

Jeff, I saw him play at the Diamond State Blue's Society's Blues band contest for Memphis recently. He sounded great and , I must say, he is a FINE looking fellow! Yeah, that's one of those deep families. Cathy
Kenny will be touring as part of Mark Hummel's Blues Harp Blowout w/ John Mayall, Lazy Lester, Fingers Taylor, and Mark's band the Blues Survivors w/ Rusty Zinn. The dates I've seen around NorCal are in Jan. so keep your eyes open for this annual tour. I've been a big fan of Kenny's since my now ex-mother-in-law turned me on to Big News From Baton Rouge years ago.

I was in Barnes and Noble yesterday doing some May birthday shopping and picked up Blues Review for myself, Kenny is on the cover of the June/July issue...along with some articles about Jeff Healey and Sean Costello. I'm not really familiar with Kenny, I'll have to check him out, he's been through the ringer...life is precious!
