Woooooooooooooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooooo!

Just came home from Munich and even though a 1 1/2 hours drive with some relaxed Etta James music lies between the end of the show and this post, endorphins are still racing through my blood like crazy.
Man, that was the best damm show I´ve ever seen in my life!!

My dad and I stood at the perfect place in the front line, right in front of Joe´s "soloing spot" ... my neck still hurts from lookin right up all the time, I was a little afraid Joe would step on my hand if I didn´t watch ...! wink
Oh my, how fast can 2 hours go by?! I´m so glad I´m seeing the guys again on Saturday, because the addiction has taken over again .... I have to say that "Funeral", "One of these days" and "ANDY" are absolute killer tracks to be added to the setlist ... when Joe played that Slide solo endling of "One of these days", I just thought to myself: "Now, THIS is pure happiness - I can´t think of ANYTHING that would make me more happy right now!"

Joe, Bogie, Carmine, Rick - you are unbelievable, fabulous, rocking, breathtaking, .... I would have to invent a new word to describe you four guys and so can I just call you the GODS OF BLUESROCK ?!
I have just two more words left to say for you - and that is

P.S.: My dad took some pictures and I took some videos, but I will post them after I returned from Berlin on Sunday evening, because I have to get on the train early tomorrow ... the two guys next to me also took pictures with a much better camera and I persuaded them to put these pictures online too. They were brothers and the one who stood next to me had never seen Joe before - do I have to tell you that he couldn´t believe his eyes?! wink
The other brother might join the forum/Street Team later... got his E-mail adress and will persuade him to do so wink.

Sounds incredible (as, of course, we all knew it would be!!!)  So glad to hear that it was everything you expected and then some.  How fun for you and your Dad to have the Joe experience as a shared memory.

Awesome Amiga,

        The planets must have been perfectly aligned last night. First you saw Joe in Germany, then Cathy, Jane, Carl, and many others saw Back Door Slam in Baltimore, and then I and my friends saw what I can best describe as Stevie "Guitar" Millers All-Star Extravaganza at The Fillmore In SF. A good night all over the world. Have fun in Berlin, and make sure that damn wall stays down!!!!

It's great to see other people's reactions when they witness the magic for the first time isn't it, knowing full well that things will never be the same again after that point!?! smile

Hey lil Eva, sounds like another fantastic show!  I know what you mean about One Of These Days, esp. the ending.  An absolutely amazing soulful slide.  That takes music to a different level.  Travel safe and have fun in Berlin!

Yesterday afternoon, my wife an i made a trip to Munich to see Joe for the first time in concert. And it was worth every single of the 500 Kilometers we made.

I am still totally blown away by the Power, the Feeling and the TOOOOONE. We stood directly in front of Joe, and it was so impressive to see/hear the Man play, feel and breathe his Music. Thank you Joe for a great Show. SOmetimes i almost had to cry because eo the Feelings and the genious of the man up there on the Stage.

Eva, please post here when your Vid's and Pic's are online, so that all others who made no Pictures, like me, have a chance to remember the Concert.

Btw, i am a Guitarist myself, and "we" all are in search for the perfect Tone, but yesterday i heard it :-)

Much fun to everyone who is going to see Joe in Berlin, Bochum and Hannover......

That's very cool though that you guys go to concerts together.  My daughter and I do a lotta music together.  She's the first one in the door when I DO A SHOW.

Eva, you're enthusiasm is contagious and puts a smile on my face.  Enjoy your next show.  Now I'm really eager to see how the US schedule develops for this summer.  Joe at an outdoor festival sounds like a lot of fun.  Hmmm.
