Classical.  I love Bach!

"There is nothing to it.  You only have to hit the right notes at the right time and the instrument plays itself."---Johann Sebastian Bach

Re: guilty pleasures

Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera.
Those singers have some amazing pipes on them, maybe the best I've ever heard.

I second that!  My 10 year old is obsessed with Phantom of the Opera--great stuff for a rainy day.

Re: guilty pleasures

I could say Tony Bennett or Neil Diamond, but when I think about it they are both living legends and there's nothing to be guilty about listening to either of them. The best I can come up with would be The Bee Gees, not all their stuff, but there's a lot of their songs that have good hooks that I find listenable. Another would be a one-hit wonder band from Holland named Diesel and their one U.S. hit Sausalito Summernight.

I  saw a show where they were listing the best "one hit wonders" and Jimi was on the list. Their criteria was people/bands with only one top ten hit. I guess based on that, he must have qualified, but it sure seemed odd to hear Hendrix referred to as a one hit wonder.
