Topic: Joe in Oregon in July...

The famiy is on vacation in Oregon in July...I go on Joe's tour page and guess who is playing at the largest blues fest west of the Mississippi while we are visiting? You guessed it! Hee Hee...some things are meant to be! There is nothing on the venue site yet. Multiple stages/ venues in Portland. Does anyone know any specifics on Joe's performance on July 3rd?

Come on out to Oregon. The Waterfront Blues Fest is a hoot. Usually almost a full week of music Down by the River! The Willamette River that is. The schedule is kind of fluid, as more bands are added. The price is right, as you bring some canned food and about $8 for the day. A kick back crowd, that will be flat BLOWN AWAY when Joe and the Boys take the stage. Be sure and get in on one or more of the Booze Cruises, er Blues Cruises in the evenings, that go along the river.
I am hoping Joe plays other dates in Oregon while in the area. Bring it ON!

Thanks for your reply - I was cking out the fest website and noticed the price - you can't beat that! Very nice of the organizers to take that route and stock the local food banks. The setting look ideal.

So much to see in the Northwest in so little time but we will make sure we are in Portland atleast when Joe is playing. If he plays other Oregon dates we may have to "readjust" our vacation...
