Topic: DOUBLE live CD

I decided to check Rick's blog since the band is touring again.  (My Space, stereoricardo) and in his 1/26 entry he writes that he "got to hear most of the double live album due for release about June...". Now, that's good news.

But until its been announced officially, I wouldn't get too fired up about it.

A couple of years ago an unofficial date was leaked for a CD, everyone assumed it was gospel and then when it didn't happen a bunch of people were up in arms about the date change.

Just keep in mind that while JB is out on the road, all the behind the scenes magic is trying to come together to make a CD happen. Mixing, mastering, releases, artwork, distribution deadlines and who all knows what else. There are plenty of things that could happen between now and then to move the date.

I'm sure JB or management will have an official announcement as soon as it is as firm as it can be.

But you are right, its exciting and I'll be glad when it's released. cool

I read that as well a couple weeks ago. But, like Phil said, until I hear it's for sure a double CD I'll keep my hopes high, but not TOO high.

You bunch of buzz killers lol ..Being all "New Age" I prefer to project a positive message to the universe and visualize a double CD. I don't remember hearing about any bad shows this last year so I'm sure there's enough material. Read Kevin Shirley's too.....The cup is half full, Cathy

I've been giving some thought to this...If it's 2 disc thats the equivalent of 2 shows back to back ...or is my math incorrect...having said that, there are alot of shows and great songs over the years in Joes arsenal...I'm going to have to put together my wish list...I would want to have the original version of "nickels" as well as last years tour version...hey I hope I'm not opening up a can of worms...just thinking out loud   wink
