Topic: Joe and the band tear up London!

Shepherds Bush last night.

2000 lucky, lucky people saw one of the finest performances London has ever seen. How long can Joe Bonamassa be musics best kept secret?

I have followed Joe for five years now, and just when you think you have seen him at his best, which is almost every time you see him play, he pulls out an even finer performance. Helped by some very fine musicians, Bogey, Carmine, and Rick. They were superb.......

Thanks to them all for putting in that little bit extra for us here in London, and Joe, thanks for wearing that suit, you looked a different class. We are all very proud to have you play for us here in the U.K.

Awesome, the Power of Joe.........

Re: Joe and the band tear up London!

I was fortunate to get a couple of the last tickets available from the Box office for last nights show and decided the 300 mile round trip was worth taking the risk on and boy am I glad I did. I'm a fairly new fan of Joe's work and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with this performance. His playing has so many levels to it, his phrasing is tasteful, his fast playing is flowing and accurate, and his choice of songs is top notch. I must admit that hearing his Live recordings was what converted me and now having seen him Live I firmly believe he needs a good producer to capture some of that on his next studio recording, if he gets that coupled with performances like that of last night there's no telling where he could end up. I doubt we'll see him at The SBE again, I would think next time he's in London he'll be at the Hammersmith Odeon.
What a great night....anyone got any Cardiff tickets they don't want?????????

Re: Joe and the band tear up London!

Yet another outstanding night at the Bush, Thanks Joe! We have been fans of Joe's for many years now back at the Borderline which held 300 people at a very tight squeeze to say the least, after last night's sell out it must be time for another move to a larger venue as the fan base grow's. I met a few people outside the Bush last night who were there for the first time and all were blown away by the performance....superb night...Thanks Joe and the band once again...awsome!
