At this time it is not required to register on this forum (but could be in the future). If you will supply your valid email address it give us a way to communicate with you without just limiting your access or banning you. We assure you that your email address will not be shared or used for commercial purposes without your consent, and you can supply it but keep it hidden, if you choose to. This would keep it hidden from other board members but accessible to the moderators and administrators of this forum. Other guidelines will be added as necessary. Just for the record, we think its pretty lame to log on just to start trouble. (i.e. taking subtle shots at people that will provoke a reaction, or naming them directly to do same).

We try to moderate as even handed as possible. Tough to do when we have day jobs and are just peeking in from time to time to make sure it doesn't get out of control.

Makes things much easier when all the forum members just follow the spirit of the rules as intended. I know it can be done as we go for months at a time with no active moderation and then it flares up.

Gotta remember that when two forum members go at it, if ALL is not deleted, someone will think they got the short end. Can't make everyone happy all the time.

We're just doing what is necessary to keep it civil, and keep it as a promo tool for Joe.

The truth as I see it is there are a few people that don't understand the way we moderate the forum. The rules are a guideline to what we ask contributers to abide by. We don't always explain the reasoning or rule interpration when we moderate. We try to be fair and take into consideration circumstances and personalities. I can assure you that we remove posts only when we feel it necessarry. Have we made mistakes? Sure. Just not this time.

If you feel wronged in any way both Phil's and my e'mail addresses are public knowledge. Nick is responsible for keeping the whole site up and running so he is your contact if you are having problems with the site itself.

If you have a problem with the mods our boss is a guy named Bonamassa.

It's a shame the forum needs to be moderated, it's a thankless job as in the real world that needs to be policed. It's no wonder most of my friends in law enforcement can drink with the best of 'em. Cheers to you, mods.
