You have to beat down the authority with authority. From my experience anyway....
Anyways, I can thank a government website, working the graveyard shift, and a United Arab Emirates airline company for my midnight woes. I've worked most of that into the lyrics but I am having trouble with incorporating the government website part into it....
And did we tell you the name of the game, boy? They call it riding the gravy train....
Nice Floydian references. Have a Cigar!
Nice avatar!
You pick the place and I'll choose the time and I'll climb the hill in my own way. Just wait a while for the right day and as I rise above the tree-line and the clouds, I look down, hearing the sounds of the things you've said today....
...then I'll have that cigar.....
A truely Fearless remark.
A truely Fearless remark.
Thanks, but really I am just a little tongue tied, twisted, just an earthbound misfit, I.....
Too bad about the Jayhawks losing last night....

Yes, however the way the Jayhawks were playing, the Wildcats deserved to win.
Last time they won, most of the students were not born yet.
Sometimes a loss at this point in the season can be a good thing!
Now they do not have that "undefeated" title to worry about, time to
focus on the game.

Truth.
Having only been able to watch the first half, I must say though, the refs seemed to be favoring the hometown a bit.....There were a lot of offensive fouls that were a bit shakey from my observations. Either way, you are right. First time in 24 or so years that the Cats beat the Hawks, so kudos to them.
At least we didn't lose to Nebraska or Missouri.....(Damn Missouri rivalry goes back to the days of the Civil War....intense)
I really hope the Jayhawks are as successful at basketball this year as they were at football, which was an absolute delight, tbh.

You ever hear the Hank Williams Jr. version of Why Don't We Get Drunk And Screw?
This a just a bit more than six words

While I'm not exactly "breakin' rocks in the hot sun", this is so fitting today.
Here's one even more fitting AND exactly 6 words:

Hehe, well, no good deed goes unpunished and good will result even if i get in a lil trouble...
and one more, also kinda fitting:
