Hey Susan .  I loved all sets with Derek.  They were my favorite.  I particularly enjoyed Derek and his band playing with Johnny Winter for Route 66.  They rocked and jammed that song.  Watching Derek and Todd smiling while watching Johnny play was just so sweet.  Also, like David I loved Derek's set with Eric and Stevie.  That was freakin' fantastic!!

Highway 61 Revisited, actually. Johnny's hit off Second Winter.

My favorite moment was probably Eric Clapton's set. The whole thing was just amazing and had a lot of great players in it. Winter with Trucks was a highlight, as was Los Lobos, who rocked really hard. The whole set was amazing, except for John McLaughlin, whose playing while impressive does nothing for me.

We watched the whole DVD again last night waiting for the new year to kick in.  So many great performances.  I also really liked Robert Cray's performance.  Johnny Winter with Derek and Todd was also a highlight for me.  And of course, Derek with Susan goes without saying. Anyway, thank you guys for insisting I buy this DVD. The only thing missing was Joe.  I hope hope he's on the next one.
