Thanks for the review, Susan.  Ferguson Hall @ The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center is definitely one of the acoustically best venues in the state. I'm glad to hear that the sound was incredible!

Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend again this go-'round as I suffered a pretty bad back injury back in August, leading to sciatic nerve issues, etc., etc., etc. Driving, sitting, all that "normal" stuff causes a level of uncomfortableness (is that even a word?!?  ;-) ) that makes it very difficult to enjoy certain activities.... NORMAL, everyday activities!

It's tough to spread the word down here, especially in the TB area, since everything is Cox/Clear Channel/same, lame formats that resist change. I was hoping for a bigger crowd but I'm sure those in attendance were thoroughly drained by show's end!

By the way, did you notice any tapers? I had contacted the venue way back when tix went on sale and although they have a strict no taping policy at the TBPAC, I was told that they were allowing taping of the show because of Joe's policy. I hope someone was able to capture it.

Hopefully I'll be all healed up by the next time Joe rolls into the Sunshine State.

Hi Dave,
I did not notice any tapers in Tampa, which is a shame.  I do hope you'll be all healed up by the next time Joe hits Tampa.  That is an incredible venue.  I love the seats too.  Very comfy with lot's of wiggle room. (Unlike the Hard Rock, where they pack you in like sardines).  Anyway, I'm pretty sure Ken and I will be there if Joe plays TPAC again.  We just love that venue.

Hey Mark..Thanks for jumping in and sharing your Bonabaptismal experience. To see Joe "cold" must have been a shock to your system but a real rush! Keep on that station to support Joe. Now begins the addiction...you have lots of catching up to do..lol...  Cathy

I think I need to make the same sales pitch to the hubby. "Oh, honeeee, how'd you like to go back to Vegas? In February?" That'll work. big_smile

Hey Nancy,
I was thinking the same thing.  I haven't been back to Vegas in a while.  Hmmmmm.....   That just might work.

Susan

Well, I put a bug in the hubby's ear and he's definitely interested. I smell a road trip coming on...

Well, I put a bug in boyfriend's ear and the result not so successful. sad   Not only that, Besides the time I've taken off work to see these shows, I've done alot of travel this year that didn' involve Joe shows and my boss is beginning to wonder if I still work here.  lol  So, it looks like we're probably gonna have to wait until Joe and Co. are playing somewhere close to us.   But, we do go to Vegas from time to time so the next time we go, maybe we can schedule it around a show.  hmm
