Topic: Tyneside Americana Blues Festival

In a reaction to the closure of the Skegness Rock & Blues festival last year, a good mate of mine and several contacts have come up with their own way to chase off the January Blues by presenting some Blues of their own.

The 3 day even will take place in the Crescent Club, ( NE30 4PN) on the sea front in the town or Cullercoats, which is basically a horse-shoe shaped bay nestling between the resort towns of Tynemouth and Whitley Bay, about 10 miles east of Newcastle.

Line-ups for the events look like this: -

Friday 19th Jan - Eric Bell Trio; Redfish; Phil Caffery: SAHB Experience; The Revolutionaires;

Re: Tyneside Americana Blues Festival

After a successful and well-received inaugural festival, the Tyneside Americana Blues Festival will be back to rock Cullercoats in 2025, so keep your diaries clear for January 17th through 19th.

And I think I can report that 1st band pencilled-in is Clearwater Creedence Revival.
