Just seen on Facebook that one of my favourite "lesser known players, who should be much wider appreciated", Indiana's Jason Wells is putting out some new music [sooner or] later this year... Keep an eye out....

  The Black Crowes are a band I was really into. Loved them in the earlier years. Then they changed and kind of let them go.
   Will be interesting to see what they cone up with.

June 7th - Quinn Sullivan releases his 5th album, Salvation on the Mascot label.

Salvation was produced by John Fields (Jonas Brothers, Pink, Har Mar Superstar), and co-written with Fields and Kevin Bowe (Jonny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Etta James) in Minneapolis. The album was tracked in a feverishly-inspired two weeks—the fastest Quinn’s made a record. The resulting 11-track album is his most personal. Salvation honours Quinn’s musical roots while forging his path forward as an emotive and engaging singer-songwriter.

Little Feat - Sam's Place released May 17th
The band's first album in 12 years and according to the blurb, their 1st Blues album. Title taken from conga player Sam Clayton who provides lead vocals.
