Paul Rodgers is to release his first album of new material since 1999's Electric..

The new album, Midnight Rose will be released 22nd Sept via Sun Records.


On the reissue trail meanwhile, on 29th Sept. Hawkwind are releasing a 50th Anniversary special edition of their seminal Live album Space Ritual in a titanic 11-dsic format. As well as the remastered original, it will also feature 3 accompanying 1972 shows; Liverpool, Sunderland & Brixton.


And probably already on the shelves, Wishbone Ash (Which one? Don't ask!!) are celebrating 50 years of Argus, with a bumper bundle.

Looking forward to it. Hope it is a good album.
Would love them go back to a more raw stripped sown version if themselves.

The late Bernie Marsden's final album 'Working Man' will be posthumously released November 24th.

The former Whitesnake guitarist passed away peacefully, aged 72 on August 23, and had been hard at work finishing the record in the weeks before his death.

Bernie oversaw the artwork, sequencing and mastering of the LP, which was finished in June.

The tracks are all original songs and come after Bernie's trio of covers albums, 'Kings', 'Chess' and 'Trios'.

The first track 'Being Famous' is out now.

Legends Foghat have just released their 17th album, Sonic Mojo; their first in 7 years. What is it with these veteran rockers,,,,?

I got a listen to it. Sounds nothing like the 70’s Foghat but some good blues rock over all. Some country rock tunes thrown in too.
