Topic: Joe left instagram

Since this site is about Joe, good or bad news, just documenting what happened yesterday. Joe posted that he is leaving instagram. Someone made a stupid, hurtful joke and it took Joe over the edge. That one comment did it, in spite of 99.99% of love, praising and adoration, that I saw on Joe's SM lately. Just another evidence that evil and hate always win. Joe's enemies and haters won, people who love Joe - lost. REeality of life.

PS: with his post yesterday Joe helped me to make a decision to not quit one difficult and costly project, that was very important to me, but  extremely challenging. Thank you Joe, as always.

I’m sorry to hear that someone has upset Joe on social media but it’s not exactly uncommon in that world.
Given the real world we currently reside in, this does appear to be the proverbial - Storm in a teacup.

I see the YouTube link has now been removed.
Don’t believe the moderator needed  to be so censorial, it’s 12 minutes long and I only managed about 3 before I completely lost interest - and I’m still non the wiser what it’s all about.

Joe gets hammered on most of the groups or forums I'm on.
How many guitars he has, he bought another one,  etc etc

Only thing I can chalk it up to is jealousy

"Social" media is a wasteland of negativity and garbage. Good for Joe.  I'm sure it wasn't that one comment, that was just the straw that broke the camel's back. Eventually it's just not worth the mental energy to ignore the nonsense, not to mention all the time wasted on unintentional scrolling. Better to go to a dedicated website with an intentional purpose, or even better, talk to a real human being.

Well if he wants   to get out of social media he can always come back here. Not that some haters didnt try to infiltrate but basically the forum basically cleaned up anything.
   This place  was rockin some serious JB love back in the day

I saw Rick Beato chipped in with his thoughts on Joe quitting IG on his YouTube channel  - Rick has been a fan for many years, and has had his fair share of haters.

I really don’t understand why some folk (not on the forum) think this is such a big issue.
I would love to have Joe back on the forum (but he did leave here after some alleged criticism).
I suspect he will be back on social media at some point as his website rarely gets updated.
At least it got a new topic going, so there is a positive in all this.

Well I "had to join" Instagram to see what my local semi-pro/pro lacrosse team was doing as they weren't updating their website,  Twitter or Facebook,  but only Instagram.
Thought a plus side,,, Joe is there.
Then poof "left"
But...BUT...

Today I got a notification that Joe or Joe's team posted his "standard", Thanks for coming tour picture from side stage.
So he's not "totally " off Instagram

Pretty much any entertainer or public person has haters on all social media platforms. Seems like most people just ignore the negative ones.
  I am glad I dont have to deal with it. Easy to say just ignore it when its not you. But for sanity sake you do that or just drop off.
