No surprise Time Clocks is on the list, I really like that album.  2021 was a great year for rock, blues and metal all around.

Re: Favorite Albums of 2021

Kingfish’s new album was a highlight and I really like The Mark Pontin Group’s Kaleidoscope.
However, the real find this year has been the very genius of Adrian Quesada’s music.     Black Pumas’ self titled masterpiece and a new (for me) Look at My Soul: The Latin Shade of Texas Soul.  Digging into his music has been like a Pandora’s box of incredible music.
I was battling for my life this past summer but good music is bringing me back.

I saw the Black Pumas on the Grammy show last year (this year?) and I liked what they wre doing.  Haven't checked out their album but I definitely should, thanks for the recommendation.

Re: Favorite Albums of 2021

Hi everyone and Season's greetings.....

I thought this year was a bit sparse for for albums, but looking back, there were a few gems among the "covers" albums and re-jigging the back catalogues. Checking the Classic Rock "Best of 2021", I found I bought more re-issues than their recommend new albums.

Anyway, here we go - (the truly outstanding highlighted in red)

Alice Cooper - Detroit Stories
Grianne Duffy - Voodoo Blues
Ben Poole & Guy Smeets - Acoustic Duo (live 2020)
Eric Johanson - Covered Tracks (Vols 1 & 2)
The Coral - Coral Island
Connor Selby - Connor Selby
Chantel McGregor - Shed Sessions (Vols 1 & 2)
Troy Redfern - The Fire Cosmic
Chrissie Hynde - Standing In The Doorway (Bob Dylan covers)
Wille & The Bandits - When The World Stood Still
Davy Knowles - What Happens Next
Mark Pontin - Kaleidoscope
Joe Bonamassa - Time Clocks
Curse of Lono - People In Cars
Black Pumas - Black Pumas
Aaron Frazer - Introducing
Bernie Marsden - Chess

Hawkwind - Somnia

When life gives you lemons; don't make lemonade.
Give back the lemons.  Why were the lemons free?  What's wrong with the lemons?
Do Not trust the lemons...
