I haven't checked it out yet but keep seeing the ads / facebook chatter about the guitar battle coming soon. I saw another fan had commented that....the fans were the winners on this big_smile no doubt..now just need some uninterrupted time to sit and enjoy it....

I saw the video....its good...IMO interesting theme....I think I read where it is Keb mo as the referee in the video...I loved the part where he had to separate them when they were dueling so close lol. Of course Eric gets the crown righteously but I loved Joe's licks in this...and his game face....and "Joe B." in the lyrics. cool

I do too, especially the horns they added. It reminds me a lot of some of the older Gales Brothers stuff from the 90s. And indeed that is Keb Mo as the ring referee

This is the album release party for Crown with Joe and Mononeon as guests. They show it's only two hours from 9 to 11 but knowing Eric I suspect it will go on into the night. Son and I are going to try to make it since it's a Friday night, tickets are only $30 general admission. This would be my first chance ever to meet Joe so I'm pretty hyped about it

FWIW, the latest Blues Music Magazine editorial is all about Eric Gales & Crown. I love the tracks I've heard so far, and this article just gets me all the more pumped up.
