If you haven't heard of this guy then you are right there in the same boat as me. This will be his sixth release coming out soon. I just discovered him this morning thanks to my son. He writes some great instrumental tracks and plays piano as well. He reminds me a little of Joe Satch and Guthrie Govan, but his melodies really set him apart, a very unique guitarist to say the least

a modified Return to Forever if you will, this is one of their songs they are covering. I don't know what year this is from but Stanley looks very young. Jean Luc is still alive, he is 79 now. He has always been one of my fav fiddle players. Al, well Al is just Al as always and Stanley is brilliant on the upright bass, no surprise there

I stumbled upon AJ Fullerton and picked up his album The Forgiver and the Runaway.

The album just gets better as it flows along.  Reminds me a little of Ry Cooder, only more polished.  Really like the guitar playing by this guy.

Thanks Tres and Jane for the kind words.  This year has been a journey to say the least and the journey continues.  I'm actually doing pretty good and my music has played a pivotal role.  Got my earbuds on for my cardio therapy.  I've finally looked back into my past favorites and old Buffalo Springfield demos and Terry Reid have held court.  TR holds the distinction of turning down the lead vocalist offer from Jimmy Page (Led Zep) and Deep Purple.  He did suggest Page look into Robert Plant and John Bonham.
I knew I had some stuff by Scott Henderson (Dog Party) and I'm listening to it as I type.  Genius and very Stevieish!

this is the first of the new ones I've seen him do live. Sondra got this in Nashville and did a great job of it. If I'm not mistaken Joe is playing a 12 string, Josh provides a wonderful solo. I can attest, it's really hard to play a lead solo on a 12 string
