Re: London Gig Guide MkII

News has broken that The Borderline will be closing its doors for good after 31st August. High rents and redevelopments by the landlords blamed.
http://dhpfamily.com/2019/05/live-music … bGoWSp4LPg

That leaves several events on the list that obviously will no longer be taken place in the venue but I'll leave them standing for now as the management are trying to organise alternate dates & halls. Changes will be made as announced.

Sad news as I know Joe has a major connection with the venue.

Thanks Kenny; looks like all Robin's October dates have been scratched until April (Holmfirth and Islington Assembly Hall anyway).

The Guide's tweaked up-to-date, taking some hols - normal service will resume in September; y'all have a good summer...

Looks like Rock stars have found a "chat show" circuit, first Francis Rossi,  then Earl Slick and now John Lydon;  though Rick Wakeman seems to be "the gov'nor still.

Re: London Gig Guide MkII

Well, things are kind of up-in-the-air at the moment with gigs, I would probably think larger venues such as indoor arenas especially.

I'll try to post any postponements that I hear as quickly as I do announcements, but if you hear anything before I do, please post. We could be in for a bumpy ride over the next month or so, but hey, grist to the  blues mill...

Best advice - check the venue or band website regularly, before venturing out.

Re: London Gig Guide MkII

Slowly piecing things back together; as one gig  in 2020 is postponed it's replacement is popping up in 2021. More holes than a tramp's vest though...

Only thing, any gigs for 1st half of June are VERY optimistic, in fact all of June but some venues haven't got round to updating, so don't chance it to luck, check with venue first....
