The Gift of Bonamassa

Several months ago I passed 5-years with my current company.  They in turn gave me a rather paltry $75 limit to spend on a gift.  Well that paltry amount was parlayed into a night with Joe Bonamassa.  Saturday night I experienced one of the most complete and mesmerizing shows that I've ever attended.  Joe was off the charts amazing as was the incredible band that backed him.  His voice was precise and powerful, while  that Telecaster he whipped out sounded unearthly.  You knew when and where the solos were coming, but my jaw was continually on the floor.  And some of those solos were so soul ripping that I felt tears creeping in.  All in all I have to thank my company for the unreal gift that they provided me.  Till next time.....
