Re: What song are you listening to right now?
just now getting into his new one Purple House, and several that sound great but I need a few more listens. I think his move to Nashville was a brilliant choice

Just before I broke off for Christmas and stuff, I did treat myself to a clutch of Paul Rose CDs at his recent home-toon gig. Promises, Notes To Self and Ten.. Normally I would date these but having only recently re-discovered Paul’s music, I’ve about 18 albums to catch up with and they just sort of “magically” appear.
Anyway, the moods between the 3 albums subtly changes though I’d say the theme commonality is reflection. As for the style, well, think of the most influential guitar-slingers from about 1960, so there’s Hank Marvin, Muddy Waters through to Jimi Hendrix, Rory Gallagher, Bert Jansch, Roy Buchanan, SRV, Joe Satriani and more, blended and distilled here into one sweet tone & style.
From Notes To Self - Get Carter Theme (The Vortex) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8U3JMQ072qg

Currently I'm listening the album Josh Smith Live at the Spud for the third time..
I really like it.
nothing more really to say about how great he was, and I didn't find his work until he passed, shame on me

No shame necessary. You found Mr. Moore... so you can make up for lost time.
Me, I lost one of my drumming heroes, Neil Peart. I'm listening to all things RUSH.
well I'm right there with you on Neil, a real loss but at least he will not suffer any longer .............. welcome to the forum, very good to have another Bonabud on board
