first, i edited your subject line...you had the 8th...its the 9th
I'm going, with Cathy Siler
Can't wait to finally meet you !!!!
I am not sure where we are staying yet. WAY too expensive to stay at the casino !
and even though there are lots of hotels close by, none are really walking distance / appropriate
last time we stayed at the Gaylord, also expensive but i thought it would be way easier to catch the free shuttle over to the casino than it actually was
had to wait for while to be close enough in line to get the next shuttle...and after the show, barely caught the last shuttle back blahblah
so thinking it thru...if I don't drink I could just drive back home but i like to have a few...
prob stay across the river and get a cab or something...thats something to figure out yet
Meantime....I am waiting for another friend to get back to me about them but i impulse bought a bunch of tickets
will be selling 3
section 3 Row B, seats 9, 10, 11 my cost $253 each. i have the physical tickets
they are close but to the side a little. The venue was weird from what I recall with a high stage that you couldn't see the whole stage from every seat....but these you should be able to unless they set up way back in the stage...
anyway let me know if anyone is interested. I am still waiting to hear back from friend but if they don't take them I will prob list them for resale at my cost next week. this means extra fees for buyer though
I'll be going too!
My first time at this venue - - looks big and intimidating but guess I'll figure it out. Hope to be able to count on the veterans of the venue to let us know if and where we can all meet up pre-show.
Since I live in Annapolis, I'll just be heading home afterwards, it's under an hour drive for me, maybe less that time of night.
Hope to see you all!
Have fun ladies! I'll be catching Joe on November 7 in Madison, WI!

Hey Barbie, don't wear him out! Leave some for us!
lol
last time a bunch of us met in the casino food court or whatever its called there
and hung out a bit before and after the show...was long lines for food but various options
here is a link...from what i recall most of the restaurants for a sit down served dinner get booked quick and $$$$ and don't open early
but the food court area has different booths with tables in the middle so everyone can get what they want and gather together. i do recall though it took like 1/2 hour in line to get a burger at the shake shack before the show

since its not a work day i will try to get there well before the show.

I thought I had front row for this so was going to say NO WAY, I'M TAKING IT ALL!
But I checked and will be in 5th row so there will be plenty left!
Thanks Barbie. Look forward to hearing about your show to get pumped up about the 9th
well I was gonna book that Sheraton but waited a few days and they were booked up. I looked again today and not a lot although options but after discussion, Cathy and decided to drive back this way instead of staying over, its not that far.
We do plan to go well early to hang out though and take our time back to the garage after the show.
Really looking forward to it!
Still trying to sell my extra tix though...have lowered my price
let me know if interested in any of my three...Section 3 Row B seats 9, 10, 11
Heard a radio commercial for the show on a Baltimore station yesterday.....First I've heard for the show but have heard them on there before and drives me nuts....it's the classic rock station and IMHO definitely where most classic rock /Joe fans might listen but they don't play Joe songs. Anyway there are still lots of tix available so I guess why the ad.....but maybe I missed previous ones. I hope it does get attention though as I'm still trying to sell the extra 3 tix I impulse bought thinking show would be sell out as they usually do. Will be curious to see how many seats are filled. I'm curious how these casino shows are for Joe..and wondering factors involved in tix sales. I hate to miss any nearby shows....not a fan of the casino shows myself but at least it's easy to get to.
Just a little more than a week now! Last show was in March but seems like eternity!
Howdy Jane! We feel the same not a fan of the venue at all BUT haven't seen him since Red Rocks two years ago. I'm ready! Let us know what time you will be getting there before the show so we can hang for awhile
See ya next week!!!!
i have to sort the details with Cathy but I am hoping to get there 5ish
i was listening to the little interview reo posted in the live cd thread....Joe mentioned mixing up the set a little...some nights if feel like a more bluesy set...some nights more rocking....I vote for more rocking!!! but i know some hard core Blues fans in the area so however that works...curious Joe's opinions of his own songs being more rock or blues though lol
cant wait!
