The "Joe Effect"

I went with my friend last night to Fell's Point in Baltimore where his band was playing in one of the small clubs. This area is a waterfront area full of small, old ,but interesting, pubs, shops and restaurants. I walked about 1/2 block to a pub to get the band's dinner before the 2nd break. There was a band that had just finished. I started talking to the guitar player which led to a discussion of Joe's show in town this week (of course). Now, this is how I know "the universe" wants me on this path..He goes by the name Automatic Slim and he opened for Joe at the Rechter Theater in Towson. Jane gave me that show and I've always been cranky that I didn't know about Joe then. That would have been one h*ll of a show to see. So I got a little Joe story from Slim and I feel better! He went back with me for the rest of the gig because he knows my friend......   Yes, that's how my brain works...lol    Cathy
