Topic: Hi community

Hi all, I'm Angus.
I live in Boston.
I enjoy hiking and playing the guitar.
I started playing guitar pretty late- I think I was 13-14 something. All my heroes played melodic hard rock- Thin Lizzy, Van Halen, Deep Purple, Whitesnake and so on. After a while I started to listen to really fast guitarplayers, like Helloween, Yngwie Malmsteen. But now that I'm old, I mostly listen to blues and I would like to play the blues. But it's like my fingers want to run away and still play fast, fast.

I belong to another guitar student website that many of the students are over 40, with many starting to play guitar in their late 50's-60's now that the kids have moved away

I would have loved to start playing at 14.

Keep playing every day even if it's only 10min a day.

Have you seen Joe rip a pentatonic scale?
He doesn't do finger tapping or sweep picking,  but his speed is up there.
