Kenny Wayne Shepherd with Beth Hart at Humphreys here.
That’s going to be a dandy!

It is absolutely amazing.  If I had time and money that is how I would love to spend my New Year. Well done sir.

There's a few tempters such as Jon Amor @ Guisborough on the 24th, but nothing to really grab my attention. To be honest, I only had 3 lined-up for the whole year until RHR announced for Redcar in July. Ariel Posen @ Ashington next month might be a tempter.

Going to see Whitesnake April 22 for sure.  There are *so* many shows this spring, it's really hard to pick and choose.

Got tickets to Tedeschi Trucks band June 30 in St. Petersburg.  I'm pretty excited, I've seen DTB several times, but never TTB.  It's also the first night of my summer vacation, so I'm kicking that off right!

San Diego Blues Festival, Sept 7
Last year’s was a blast and I’d been waiting for the lineup to be announced. Right in my town down on the bay at a great outdoor venue.
Taj Mahal, Eric Gales, Larkin Poe, Curtis Selgado and more!
Splurged on the super vip’s for front row, catered food and drink, private party the night before, meet and greet with the players and more. The kids’ inheritance just took a hit!
Hoping to see some of the SoCal buddies there.

Re: My Next Concert (s)

not my next but rather my last this past Saturday in Pelham Tenn @ the Caverns ............ music in a cave, and it was quite the treat, moisture actually dripping from the ceilings and very coooool temp wise. I think Eric Gales is getting tired on this long road trip, he was AOK as usual but I thought that Walter Trout stole the show. He was freakin amazing and played longer than I thought he would, then came back out later to do a couple of songs with Eric. The Travers Brothership opened the show and they did not disappoint, they are very versatile with a little jazz influence here and there, and even brought their dad on stage to play a little guitar and sing, Hurricane Bob Travers or something like that and he was good
I will post some pics of the venue when I can, words don't do it justice, never seen a concert in a place like that

Re: My Next Concert (s)

Unexpected but good to run into Jamie & Andrew Pipe (half The Mentulls) last night at the Joey Landreth gig and a bit of a coincidence as my next gig will be:-

17th May - The Mentulls @ Stockton-On-Tees; Georgian Theatre
then
31st May - Rebecca Downes @ Stockton-On-Tees; Georgian Theatre

My first visit to  this venue, so why not twice...?

Got a busy weekend of festivals in Holland coming up, highlights being :

Gov't Mule
Blackberry Smoke
Little Steven
Golden Earring
Robert Jon and the Wreck
King King

Re: My Next Concert (s)

One "scheduled" gig for me this month, but it's a bit classy:-

17th June - Mike Farris + Elles Bailey @ Ashington; White House.

I'd entice folk along, but this gig sold out within 3 days of being announced....

Re: My Next Concert (s)

The 15th I'll be in Louisville to see the Aussie band The Teskey Brothers.  Really looking forward to it.

The following week I'm seeing a country artist, Chris Carpenter at a winery in Villa Rica, Georgia.  Mainly meeting some old friends.

Re: My Next Concert (s)

Off to see the Steve Hillage Band on Friday in Manchester. Must remember to wear my tea-cosy smile
