Topic: Remember Jonny Lowther?

He used to be a frequent poster and aspiring guitar god. He was a heck of a player who emulated Joe, and a very nice guy.
I met him in London during the TDF week and cruised the guitar shops on Norway St. with him and LindyLu. Well, the $ in git slinging pubs in London sucked so he decided to follow his dream of becoming a pilot.
He went to a school in England and got his pilot’s license, came to the US for commercial jet flight training and landed a job with Ryanair doing co-pilot on short hauls in Europe.
Today he posted that he’ll be flying 787 Dreamliners on international long hauls for Norwegian Air.
Makes me feel good to see a dream come to fruition.
Well done young man.

I used to enjoy his vid's and he certainly had the skills. Glad he is doing good and hope he still plays. big_smile
