Topic: The Alyona Yarushina Thread

Alyona is a musician/vocalist/composer/arranger from Moscow. She also sings with a russian Led Zeppelin tribute band. And she has her own Beatles tribute band as well. But its her solo work on her You Tube channel which is the best, and Alyona has just just started recording for her first album. She likes to be challenged as a vocalist and to take on songs with an extremely difficult vocal. This is where she is at her best.

This is a proper international collaboration recorded just a couple of weeks ago. Alyona Yarushina from Russia on vocal, Andrei Cerbu from Romania on guitar, Sina from Germany on drums. Sina's dad played bass, but did not want to appear in the video. Andrei and Sina are both still teenagers, Alyona just a little older.

I have seen  some good LZ cover bands.She and the band have it down too very good.I will see what her original songs are like

They are not a band, as such. Sina and Andrei do a lot of collaborations together with a cast of young international musicians, normally vocalists. But this was the first time that Alyona had worked with them. Sina had difficulty finding the right vocalist for Black Dog, so she contacted Alyona to step in and help out. They have talked about doing another one together as well. I hope they will.

Alyona doesn't have any originals on her channel at the moment. Her first album will be her originals, and she has started recording it. She has hinted that it will be in a classic/melodic rock style. And, rather than use other musicians, she will most likely record it all herself. Alyona has good pedigree, she has taught voice and been a choir conductor at music college. And she has worked with Robert Plant guitarist, Innes Sibun. She's also worked with Ryan Roxie, Alice Cooper guitarist, and AC/DC drummer, Chris Slade. And she's even worked with Chick Corea!
