Topic: Going price for Tomato Soup burst?

What’s a good price for a minty non-bigsby tomato soup burst? Found one I’m going to check out but since there were so few of them it’s hard to get a read of what they are worth; there aren’t a lot of used sales out there on them.

How much are they asking and which country are you in?

Personally I don't rate the Tomato Burst as highly as the Goldtop JB Les Paul's, but as you say there aren't many around on the used market so it's hard to judge.

Having a look on eBay, one sold recently for £2k, so maybe use that as a guide.

I'm in the US, and this one is going for $3k. I played it today - it is absolutely stunning - love the neck, and love the color (though i would likely have the pick guard installed for the more traditional look).

Probably too rich for my blood right now but wanted to see if it was about right. I see int'l listings at the high 3's.
