They finished recording it about a year ago and it's been finished and ready to go for 6-8 months or so. The Carnegie show and BCC took precedence. Glad they finally are putting it out. Been waiting a long time
I just noticed that RCFP doesnt list a keyboardist on the new cd.....what happened to Fred Kron or Renato Neto on the keys??

I just noticed that RCFP doesnt list a keyboardist on the new cd.....what happened to Fred Kron or Renato Neto on the keys??
Renato is definitely on it. He came in from Brasil to record with them and you can see him in the new video they just posted. Not sure about Fred. Maybe they are just listing the core group since the keyboard players keep changing

Thanks Natasha....need the keys in this group....hope they have Danny on percussion too as he adds a lot to the feel of the music....
I am looking forward to the release to see what they have come up with this time! Really enjoyed the first two albums !
Just listened to the new Rock Candy Funk Party double LP "Groove Cubed" and OH MY GOD it is like a f**king auditory feast! This album is way beyond their other ones. There is so much going on it. So many genres explored, changes, subtleties, not to mention 2 songs with vocals. I could probably listen to it hundreds of times and still be surprised by something I hadn't noticed previously. It's got a harder rock sound for quite a few songs with incredible solos by Joe. Especially on "In The Groove" and "The Token Ballad". Plus he does a beautiful acoustic bit on the jazzy "Ping Pong". It's got some rock, some funk, some soul, some jazz. I am truly blown away by this album. Tal, Joe, Ron, Mike and Renato, thank you, thank you so much for continuing with this project. Rock Candy Funk Party is above and beyond anything else out there.

Kevin has never had anything to do with RCFP. This is Tal's and Ron's band that Joe was invited to join in on. Tal has produced all the RCFP releases and he and Yossi Shaked do an incredible job with them. None are over compressed. They have a wonderful full sound with richness and depth.

What a wonderful album RCFP GC! When you are sad - it makes you feel better, when you are anxious - it calms you down... Sounds just right in the morning or at night, has so many musical gems in it. They should sell it as medicine #musictherapy
