Ha-ha! Such a mysterious post by Joe: did he get a new vintage car? Is he driving from LA to NY ( that is way more than 900 miles )? Nashville to Ithaca - 845 miles... is that it?..  what is nations rust-belt (rust belt states?..) What's the difference between Nerdville and Dorkville ( had people laughing today at work when asked what the difference between nerd and dork ) soooo.... just many questions and no answers smile anyway.... good luck from me too!

Re: Operation Dorkville Fury

I think the rust belt is like the upper midwest thru the northeast....I actually had to look that u but was close to my guess. Actually learned something from the google. I actually have learned a lot from Joe that is not music related.
so I don't know the distances but maybe Chicago or Detroit or something....but not sure...glad he updates us on the instagram...
art first i thought the same - truck from CA
but i guess he's flying to buy a Plymouth Fury back to
Dorkville which is what Joe calls the town he grew up or at least went to High School, Yorkville
Nerdville is his place in CA and I guess his place in Nashville is Nerdville East.
We had a Fury station wagon when I was growing up....would LOVE to have that thing now......
No car like a Mopar!!!

Re: Operation Dorkville Fury

I think you figured it out Jane. It's 900 miles from Yorkville to Nashville and the route goes through Buffalo, Cleveland, Columbus.  If he is going to declare residency in Nashville at some point he will need to have a registered vehicle there. I had heard he was going to bring his truck out to Nashville, but maybe he changed his mind and is going to get an old car from his hometown to bring out there instead.

It looks like he's road tripping with his dad. Probably hitting every pawn shop and local music mom and pop along the way. That old iron has a big trunk.

Ahaha! This is so cute... How dare those bonaholics  and bonalocos ( loveit Gary!!! ) make their hilarious attempts at open source intelligence!!! And where - here!!! Where everything is about Joe and nothing is too little and unimportant.

Re: Operation Dorkville Fury

I know Ron is a big fan and looking out for our main man.
But yes there is no stone uncovered in here. This is our Nerdsville  I guess.Well yes it must be! Or is this our Dorkville?
And Joe posted it on Instagram so it's not like he is hiding it

Re: Operation Dorkville Fury

My last post made me think that I am a bona nerd. But I always thought I was cool being in on the Bonawho thing.
But if Joe lives in Nerdville and Dorkville then it is cool being here in a backwards sort of way.His Nerdiness or dorkness brings us the coolest music on the planet!!!!

I am so with you on it Gary and Jane! Also consider myself being a Bona nerd. I am still so fresh and bonintoxicated, that Joe and his music and everything about him is the most interesting thing for me. I don't do picture walls, shrines and altars, but I guess I have a sort of one here in my posts.

Yep. Fury with a 440. Not far between gas stops and octane boosters. 10 mpg downhill with a tailwind.

Re: Operation Dorkville Fury

A Plymouth Fury similar to Joe's was in my family from the time it was purchased new in 1966 until last year.  My Aunt had it first for many years, then gave it to my brother then it eventually ended up with my step-dad who did a lot of work on it.  They are a thing of beauty and so much fun to ride in/drive.

Nice to see Joe just doesn't collect guitars.

I think he now owns all the guitars in the world so now he is working on the automotive industry as an outlet for his bonadollars...lol...I'm just kidding before anyone jumps on me.

Re: Operation Dorkville Fury

He just posted a pic on instagram. Hood up and cooling off the "Spruce Moose". It's a spruce green convertible. Hope they make it before it cooks.

Ron, when you post to social media you loose privacy.
You want private stay off of social media.

Sorry just the way it is
