Topic: Cradle Rock Written by Rory Gallagher and Joe Bonamassa!

I've not posted on here for ages but this has kinda wound me up. I followed an emailed link to Joe performing Cradle Rock - the text introducing the video says - Cradle Rock - Written by Rory Gallagher and Joe Bonamassa, for his debut studio album A New Day Yesterday?

Cradle Rock was written by Rory and played live in 1974 - before Joe was even born,  how can Joe claim to have co wrote it?

Even if Joe has changed lyrics (and I'm not sure if he has) he still can't claim to have co wrote it.

Very strange behaviour for JB.

First, Joe does not produce the newsletter that contains the links, so accusing Joe is not being honest. Not sure how it happened because I did not see the text you speak of, but I can assure you that Joe would never take credit for anything he had no part of.

I was thinking Joe may have contributed from the cradle  but since it was written in 1974 that  shoots down that theory.
I would bet somebody made a boo boo in writing that
