Topic: Meet and Greet give away

Hi all
The fall USA tour is soon upon us. Like other tours I have two of my meet and greets I would like to give away. I have one for the 11/21 Hartford Show and one for the 11/26 Baltimore show. As always I am looking for young bloods to give these meet and greet to. So if you are one of the older fans bring your son or daughter I will provide one meet and greet for him or her. If this does not work I will give it to anyone that is younger then 18. My ideal person would be someone younger then 18 a fan of Joe's, and a guitar player.

funny I've seen Ron do this a few times over the years. and always seems to have a problem ..

guess there are just to many of us 'old men' on the forum.. hard for us to come up with an under 18.

Thanks to all for you comments. Yes it always seems a little difficult but some of my best meet and greet give away a have happened when I am out front of the venue before a meet and greet where I see a young person with a mom or dad. I start a conversation that ends up with me asking if they would like to meet Joe? The looks on their faces is priceless. Makes it all worth it. I am sure I will find someone. I always seem too.

Hi Ron,
I am going to the 11/21 Hartford Show with family. I hope you might consider me for the meet & greet pass. Actually, it would be for my father-in-law. Hear me out. He was the one who turned me onto Joe way back when he was just starting out and I was a kid.  Over the years, he has exposed so many others to Bonamassa's music too.  I know he is not the young kid you were looking for, but he is a super-fan that really has been an ambassador for Joe. Technically he is a kid because he is a leap year baby and only had 17 real birthdays! smile

Anyway, I hope that you consider my request.  This would be an amazing way to pay back my father-in-law Timmy for his passion for the blues and dedication to spreading the word about Joe! We are all really excited and can't wait for next Monday. Enjoy the show!

Hey Ron. Unfortunately Timmy is not technically savvy and relies on his kids for assistance.  We've loaded all of his CD's into iTunes for him so he can have Bonamassa's catalog on his iPod. But honestly, he's kinda old school and prefers having a physical CD so he can read through the liner notes. I'm sure if knew how to use a computer he would be on this forum all the time.
