Re: Anyone for Golf ?
Hubby and I both are rooting for Spieth, then Phil. Yesterday's ending saw some great shots from Justin Rose.

Fantastic golf being played! If the kid falters Lefty is lurking. It's going to be a great Masters Sunday.
Rick
edit: Well done Mr. Spieth! I see a changing of the guard.
Was a great Masters .. I was glued to the tube on Sunday!
I was so hoping the young Spieth could have parred the last .. to own the -19
The world of golf is certainly changing
Cheers!
Just got done playing, golfed more in April this year than in May for the last 2 years. Should be some great play at the WGC this weekend.
thought you guys in England might be interested in what's happening at the Masters, very well represented this year it appears. If the cut line stays where it is you have Casey, Rose, Chris Wood, D Willett, Westwood, Poulter, and Fitzpatrick that will all play the weekend. It looks now that only Andy Sullivan may miss the cut, but even he still has an outside chance.
You should be very proud of these guys, tune in to ESPN to watch it unfold, truly a tradition like no other.
Langer is making a move.
Watching Jordan Speith commit a quadruple bogey after 2 bogeys reminded me of Kevin Costner's meltdown in Tin Cup. Hopefully he rebounds from that fiasco. He's only 22 and has plenty of golf ahead of him.
FORE!!!!!!
J Dawg
and there you have it, the first English winner at the Masters in 20 years. Congrats to Danny, he did get a lot of help from Jordan but he also had a bogey free 4th round, quite difficult to do on that course with or without wind and elements.
Poor Jordan...gotta feel for that meltdown...but the only thing that counts is who is most under par at the end of 72 holes...congrats to the Brit

YES! Congrats to Danny Willett!
Thanks for mentioning the strong team of Brits this year - except you missed an important Brit member, Rory Mcilroy?
Rory hails from Northern Ireland, try to keep up now

....And Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom - which makes him a Brit!!

I think you'll find he also has a British passport

Go Lefty! One more Auld Claret Jug for the mantle would be nice. A hero for the old guys.
Rick
A duel for the ages. Lefty played like a master, the Swede was unconscious. Another 2nd for our home town guy.
Ryder Cup time, and they are off and running on morning matches at Hazeltine National. Phil and Rickie are surprising me, DJ and Kuch are just destroying Westy and Pieters. The Golf Channel has the coverage today, NBC has it tomorrow and Sunday.
USA, USA, USA !!!
there you go, and what a fantastic comeback by Phil and Rickie. The last time team USA won 4-0 in a foursomes match session was in 1975. This could be a rout if the Euros don't step it up this afternoon.
Thanks for starting up the Ryder Cup 2016 ahsmith33
After a slow start... Europe are coming back ... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/golf/37361631
Some great golf being played. It was nice to see Lefty get fired up when he canned that putt to ice it.
They are off! The first pair just teed off and may the golf be stunning.
Rick
it was stunning Rick, and not just because USA won. The match with Phil and Sergio was incredible, both shooting 63s to end at all square. The bottom of the Euro order was just not strong enough to overcome USA. Reed beating McIlroy was priceless and set the tone for most of the remaining matches. I was very impressed with Pieters, the young man showed up and came to play.
See you in Paris in 2018......... USA, USA, USA !!!
