commissioned a painting of Joe

I just got off the phone with a widely known artist to have him paint a really awesome picture of Joe for me.  It is a photo taken from one of his live shows.  Well, I sent pictures of what I would like to have him create.  Later today he is planning on getting back in touch with me as to how much this will cost.  It may sound silly to many people but, for me, it's something I am confident I'll enjoy for years to come.  If, and that's a BIG IF, I can afford it.  If so, and if I am lucky enough to get a meet n greet for Joe's concert, then having him autograph it would be much more special than I am capable of putting into words.
I still can't believe that even though I am a heavy metal fan through and through that I'd pay a decent amount of money for a painting of an artist who is not from the heavy metal genre.  Guess Joe takes up a larger part of my soul/heart than I initially believed.  Joe is just so coooool, and yet down to earth and kind to his "legions" of fans.  Watching his live DVDs truly warms my heart.  There is something about ol' Mr. Bonamassa that is gravitating.  Even with my social anxiety I still can't wait to see him live this coming December...11th row...Yeah!!! 
To all you dads out there, I hope you had a wonderful Father's Day.  I spent mine with my wife and two sons.  Life doesn't get much better than that these days.
