Topic: Greetings from Canary Islands

Hello to all JB forum members,  my name is Rafael, I´m a guitar player and im working hard on my sound and technique. I’m a big fan of Joe´s playin and I´m working on his music, I just finished 3 solos and I´m working on 3 more. I wonder if i can put the link to the covers in the forum to share with you all?

Thank you very much

Re: Greetings from Canary Islands

Welcome to the forum Rafael! I'm not sure that this forum has any members from the Canary Islands here, prior to you.

I know other people have posted links to covers of Joe.
I'm not sure what section those typically get posted in...maybe in Off Topics?

Welcome Rafa. I'm pretty sure you are the first from there. You can post covers in "Other Artists" and sometimes the players put a link in the gear section as a demo of a pedal, guitar or amp. I think there is a minimum  number of posts for new members before they can post links. 15-20? It is part of the spambot filter. How did you first find out about Joe?

Re: Greetings from Canary Islands

Hi guys,

The first time I ever heard Joe was back in 07, a friend of mine told me “you have to hear this” and played “I know where I belong”, the only thing I could think was: this guy is amazing.
From that moment I´ve been a fan of Joe´s music. I´ve followed his career and he has been a great inspiration. It´s not easy to find artists that year after year keep transcending themselves.

Thanks for welcoming me into the forum.

Hi Rafa,

a very warm belated welcome but better now than never! I didn't chime in for a longer period and even forgot my password...

Just read that you on the Canary Islands enjoy temperatures about 25 degrees Celsius at the moment.
Where are you located? I only visited Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura until now.

Have fun here, greeting from Heidelberg area in Germany
