Topic: Greetings from Northwestern Ontario Canada....EH
Hello fans and friends of Joe Bonamassa.
Sitting hear listening to JB and Beth Hart...great way to start the day. (I'd Rather Go Blind)
We do not get to see much of JB in Canada, but I see he has some tour dates coming up for southern Ontario. May have to sell a couple of guitars to make the trip...lol
Following an acident in 2006 which left me with an ABI (acquired brain injury) I was bored and going crazy not working along with all the other stuff that comes with being "newly disabled". A friend lent me his Washburn acoustic and to make a long story short, 15 guitars, 9 amps and 8 pedals later, I have to say the therapeutic value of music saved my life. Music worked in well with my re-hab and has greatly improved my quality of life.
I had also not heard of or listen to JB prior to my accident. Finding his music was the icing on the cake. Been a big fan ever since. Besides his music, I admire his approach regarding the music industry, his dedication to his fans and the quality of his performances and recordings. I was a teen in the 70's (guess I just "aged" myself) and raised on everything from Buka White to Frank Zappa. Joe Bonamassa has certainly started a new legacy and chapter in world of music.
Peace and Love (yep still a bit of a hippie)
