Anyone listened to this ?
Yep, I just got it in the mail on Monday. I really like it, but then again I like everything they do.
Saw them live, great show. Can't seem to get into their studio stuff though.
I do miss the Derek Trucks Band.
Yes, I agree .... I saw them live two times last year, one time in an ampi-theatre in the middle of Tropical Storm Bill ... and they were much better than their studio albums.
I haven't picked up the album yet, but I did watch their show on ACL. Fantastic stuff.

They played some of the new stuff last night at the Keswick.
Hopefully they'll play more on Saturday with the longer set.
Awesome stuff from one of the best bands out there!
There was a nice article in yesterday's Philadelphia Inquirer ahead of the Keswick shows ... nice front page picture / article of the Life Section:

(funny / sweet story about the laundry and the wah-wah)
I have it, like it! Going to see them Saturday night!
Just listened to album, awesome. I think Joe had the best line about Tedeschi/Trucks when he said, "there is so much talent in that band, it's not even fair."
yes its awesome...
I bought the CD and its great , wish I'd bought it sooner.
I like it a lot. The album just oozes class throughout.
I'd previously had Revelator (also classy, almost gentle) and Everybody's Talking which was a great example of how what happens in a live settling contrasts with their studio original material. Setlist.fm reveals that in 17 shows so far in 2016, with a typical 16 song-length setlist, they've included 52 different songs and indeed had 10 different set openers and nearly as many different closers!
And... I get to see them for the first time tonight! Looking much forward.
I think Joe had the best line about Tedeschi/Trucks when he said, "there is so much talent in that band, it's not even fair."
And that was about it! Incredible show.
Their material included 5 or 6 songs from Let Me Get By as well as Midnight in Harlem and Bound for Glory.
My high point of the night was the cover of (The Beatles) Something. When, after and extended interplay between the keyboard player and Derek, he launched into the George Harrison riff identifying the song, there was an pleasurable moan audible through the audience.
Ohhh man, extremely envious ........... they don't get anywhere near Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on their tour dates as far as they've posted.
This " Let Me Get By " has moved up to one of my favorite albums ..... listening right now.
